Expansion follows a clear institutional process rather than a promotional timetable.

    Student demand, community priorities and workforce needs are considered before a new academic area is proposed.

    Design the provision

    Curriculum, learning outcomes, assessment, progression and awarding arrangements are developed and reviewed.

    Confirm capacity

    Qualified staff, specialist resources, facilities, learner support and governance arrangements must be in place.

    Approve and publish

    A school, subject area or programme is announced only after its status, responsibilities and delivery arrangements are confirmed.
